Holi

Holi, the festival of colors, marks the arrival of spring and celebrates joy, renewal, and the triumph of good over evil. In Brooklyn, it transforms into a full-sensory experience—music, dancing, laughter, and bursts of color filling the air.

I’ve spent time photographing the festival over the years, drawn to the energy and the way people let go, even if just for a moment. Strangers become friends, faces disappear under layers of color, and the whole space shifts into something playful and alive. This series captures those moments—fleeting, chaotic, and full of life.
